Innovation is always seen as a positive, as something that brings us closer to our goals within the brands that we are building. The great thing about good innovation is that everyone then celebrates it. Which is good.
The other side of innovation is the path that you need to walk to realizing it. It is filled with a lot of trial and error and you will need to figure out a few things first before you are able to hit the eureka moment and break through with something innovative. At times, even you might not fully see the innovation when it comes through as it will be a result of having tried a few things to see if they work. We need to understand that the process that allows us to innovate is the same process that makes us try out new things. Some might show promise of working, others might not even work.
The beauty though, is that sure way to getting the innovation is really putting in the effort on trial and error, making a few mistakes along the way until we get things right.
