Positioning as a simple concept means that you actually position your brand towards your intended audience on what the brand stands for and why they should consider buying it. Customers are exposed to a lot of content daily, and are always scrolling through messaging that does not align to their overall goals and objectives.

We need to constantly remember that no matter how big or small our brand is, we need to drive towards positioning the brand into our customer’s minds. In order to always be top of mind for our customers and for them to understand what we stand for, and how we solve their problems, we need to constantly remember the following;


1. We need to clearly define who our audience is and is not.

2. Why is our product so special?

3. Why should they care about our product?

4. What value will the product bring into their life?

5. How are we going to package the brand properly for our intended audience?


Just five things to always remember as we build positioning for our brands, in order for them to stand for something and actually mean something in the minds of our customers.
