As a Marketer, it is important to understand how all the different parts fit together in order for you to continue to do integrated marketing. I love the term when it is used in integrated digital marketing, which is an idea that for your digital marketing to work exceptionally, you need to ensure that it is fully integrated across the different platforms.
All your customer touchpoints needs to talk to each other, with a strong single campaign message that solves your business challenges. There is a further step that we need to take, similar to the approach that companies do when they actually do a rebrand or an update on their company logo. You need to take everyone through the journey, internal and external in terms of what it is you are trying to achieve.
Some points to consider;
· Before you launch or go out to market, sell the campaign and the background internally to all staff
· Align all your Marketing partners and understand how each partner will help you align towards the goal.
· Make sure that all your marketing touchpoints communicate the same message.
· Lastly, you need to launch in order for everyone to work towards a specific launch date.
