REMOVE THE ADMINISTRATIVE ROADBLOCKS

We all know it too well, you spend time working on a brainstorming session with your team and you finally hit the aha! moment in terms of the ideas! The path to success looks certain however, you know that this will need to be sold internally to make it to the light of day. Given the busy nature of the Marketing industry, Marketers can at times avoid the ideas that will need a lot of effort to sell internally and that will lead to average work delivered over time.


There is a different way, which is to travel the road less travelled and actually seek out the work that will need internal selling. We need to always remember, if the work remains safe and we do nothing that pushes or challenges us, then the output will also remain “safe” and will not make it an interesting career. We need to be bold, and we need to challenge the status quo and look for the opportunities that challenge our own thinking, and how we approach our marketing.
