Time is all it takes to make good or bad decisions.

There is a reality for most people in marketing, that part of the year when things start to hot up and get really busy. Its back to back meetings, briefs and reports. It feels like there is an intensity that keeps on building up and as a result, there is not a lot of time in between projects or meetings. To some, it feels great functioning at full capacity as it means you are truly busy.

This is a dangerous place to function from as it means that not a lot of time is spent on thinking things through. The quality of our decisions and thoughts will always determine how far we are able to go. We need to constantly review how busy we are, then within that find moments that will allow us to think and do things better. When we are really busy, that is when we need to take the time and really slow things down in order to be able to make quality decisions with the time that we have.
